Should i bother turning in job applications?

I’m a 19 year old college student with no work experience. Even if i get and interview I feel like I won’t get hired anyway. The only thing I’ve done is look after the household and taking care of my little brother. I do community service and I write articles for the local newspaper. But I don’t think that will help because those aren’t real jobs and I’m just going to sound stupid. Should I just give up?
