Article Writing Software Freeware

Any software for writing maths/Physics articles? Preferably freeware.?

I wish to write physics and maths articles and am looking for Some software that allows all maths and physics symbols to be inserted with ease in document. Thanks

If you are serious about it, download a version of Latex. This is a markup language which you then compile. It’s very powerful and ultimately much easier to write in than menu-driven editors, though it takes some getting used to. It’s available free under the GPL.
